Extending Digital Narrative 
An immersive documentary on the life and death of Gisberta Salce, a Brazilian transgender woman murdered in Porto in 2006, made as a tool for social education and against transphobia.
Thirty minutes, in 360° VR and 2D, in Portuguese with subtitles. Built on virtual-reality perspective-taking tasks, it traces Gisberta’s 45 years across five acts, drawing on 68 news articles and interviews with LGBTQ+ activists and friends, and sets itself against mainstream Portuguese media accounts. The narration amplifies the collective voices of victims of transphobia rather than attempting to recreate Gisberta’s own.
Made by three queer artists without external funding: Sérgio Galvão Roxo (director, animator, editor), Pedro Velho (illustrator, writer) and Alexia Vitória (narrator). Premiered at DOK Leipzig 2023; shown at SXSW 2024 XR Spotlight, Sunny Side of the Doc, Queer Lisboa and the 40th LGBT Film Festival Ljubljana; National Grand Prix at FEST — New Directors Festival 2024.
